It has better lines than mine, but I like the factory clocks and stock rear guard.
4-into-1 suits them better than my twin pipes too.

Are you going to make some trim's to fill in the sides of the tank ?

Seen a few with the top hose coming out the back of the rad not the front,
I was never keen on seeing it go down infront of the rad.

StuNVA, My ram-air holes were filled by cutting up a stock oil cooler guard mesh
and putting a slotted rubber trim around it. As Pete said its easy to glue in place.
(also easy to drill the ram-air tubes and put in LED's if your that way inclined)

Top Job Pete, looks tough.
With only a Busa tank and all other panels changed its always funny to see
how many "normal" riders can spot what it is, most I.D. a Busa from its lights,
fairing and tail.

ok today i started on a fluid res for the clutch and brake, ive fitted a baffle in between both sides ,with a 70 / 30 split ,the larger side for the brakes, it isnt completely closed around the internal baffle ,i used stainless steel, im waiting to buy a tape so i can drill and tap brass outlet fittings into each end

i didnt know you needed ss wire ,ive made a few of these things in the past ,i understand the fluid will draw moisture in and cause things to rust ,what i did was to shape the 2x 8 mil end plates to fit tightly into the pipe before welding. I have tank milk here i was thinking of treating the inside with this to seal it completely.

Any mig with fuild contaners can be a pain with the way the wire and weld pool work and gets worse with spot welding
It will weld with norm mig super wire (er70s) and mig mix gas but the strengh and weld are never as good (causes a rust at weld etc)
Im not shore about tank milk, maybe por15 but id test to see how it holds up with brake fuild (dot 6 maybe its not as reactive ?)

End of day its your bike and you prob will never have a prob but in my mind you are fucking with something that helps make your brakes work and then on top of that tring some thing with the combined res, Id make very shore of things.

I have done more than a bit of s/s fab and machining and while I hate machining it I really love welding the stuff and there really is only one way to go and that is tig with stright argon gas and s/s filler wire Imo
