Banbusa up date, it's been fark'in age's since iv givin an up date on the slowest build in the world so i thought id throw one at ya's.
After putting the bike together i noticed that the cross over on the front brake line's was going to hit on the oil cooler when the forks compressed i added a full set of black braided speilger brake line's which run two full line's down either side of the fork leg's and iv decided to change the oil cooler as well to some thing much shorter to avoid the front guard hitting it if and when the bike bottoms out.
After trying to start the motor with no luck due to the ignition sender only throwing out .4 of a volt at the plug's iv ordered a full dyna 2000 ignition system,i was trying to avoid this due to cost but iv got one from the U.S for
$340 + post. . . . They state up to 15 hp increase so it cant be a bad thing i guess. After that's all done all's that is left is to sort drive line and find someone who can bend me up a alloy link pipe to finish up the exhaust system which may need a dohnut cut and put into it to get the required bend in it. . . Sorry for no pic's im in the desert till friday [}:)] get em up when i can !. . . . . .
Harry

hey guy's long time no post,work own's me [V]
either way iv been having a go at the bike when i get a chance.
iv added black braided speigler brake line's to the front and rear and im waiting on black braid clutch line and cam link line's from the UK so it all match's up...soon i hope !
the bike had'nt been started since the engine re-build or for six year's befor that for that matter and when the time came for a start up i was only getting .4 of a volt at the plug's so it's had a full dyna 2000 ignition put into the bike to drive some life into it.
for about a year iv had my eye on some new engine case's from the UK so i finally broke down and got them,a mate of mine kept telling me no one will know wat sort of bike it is so there should be no prob's with that now having Bandit moulded into them.
the chain went on yesterday and look's extremly long but i thing it's the gold on the black, either way look's hot.
the street got a quick look wen the chain went on with a quick lap up and down the road sounding like a speed way car...Happy me,first ride on it in year,s ![:p]

finally got back from the desert and got into the bike again, speedo sensor finished which was a pain in the ass to say the least..the 08 busa rear leave's very little room for any thing, getting a magnetic bolt to fit into the rotor was imposiable so i ended up taking one to the local engineering shop and getting them to turn it down to fit, sensor mounted on the rear of the caliper with high tensile zip tie's and i put a join in the wiring using 9 volt battrey connector's i can remove the rear wheel without having to take things off (work's well).
i did paint the header's and link pipe with vht paint which gave off some great toxic fume's 90second's after starting it even after sitting for 3 day's so the system was ripped off and sent down to compertition coating's in brisbane to get ceramic coated and came back shit hot, $172 dollar's well spent.
