Its the only way Harry.
The Jap's have messed about with longer/shorter arm's
for a while for traction/handling/etc by moving the
Swingarm pivot backwards or forwards.
Cant really calculate it unless you know the length of a
Stock B12 and the length of both Busa and B12 arms.
.....but you already knew that....;)

I'd have given it some thought if they'd been real clean and tidy,
but wires hanging out, trim panel's missing, deep rust on down pipes
and several other things put me off paying what I considered to be
a top end price tag.

G'day jarrod......i'll hold that thought mate,i do like the zx10 tail but the only drama is iv got to be able to put my 11year old son on the back for a spin, every time he came on my k3 thou he'd shit him self because he could see over my head and i dont want to scare him of bikes,he love's the CB1300 and riding on the bandit in standered form, then got realy dark on me wen there was no seat for him on the slingshot,so iv got to work out a full seat that will look the good's on a fighter...ben from extremecreations has done a shit hot job on a 600 hornet seat that does it for me (pictured on his site)the ass is first on the list after the motor gets back,it's taking age's! i told him there's no hurry....2 months ago ! times up:(

Harry, with that current paint scheme, you could use anodised red parts as highlights against the matte black, such as handlebars, low tension bolts and the odd alloy component here and there.

Harry
13-07-2009, 10:36 PM
interesting thought bear, did'nt even cross my mind. the black on the frame came out of a $7 spray can just to cover the bare metal...more welding to be done.but it will be powder coated black (so much better than the orignal red frame) it would be nice to keep the candy apple i some form on the bike,im just wait'in on the motor to come back from a complete rebuild, rings hone, new g'box..cheer's for the idea's mate

The genuine Ducati seat pods cost a fortune Harry, but there is a guy on ebay that does fiberglass copies for about a quater of the price. They need a bit of sanding and filling but come up looking good as. I brought a pod and a belly pan for my monster for 60 quid from the guy.
