Good on ya Lynton. Really happy to see things picking up for you and your efforts getting noticed.

Thanks Si, been a long time coming but all started around the time I meet you, Ben and rod at the Brisbane show
with predator and venom.
Now that was a while ago....
Golden erea IMO
finally had a bit of time to start the next phase of the lift table build and start the new fixtures needed to allow me to straighten tube frames......
one of the reasons this hydraulic 2 ton pallet lift table was in the scrap bin was that the shaft wear was so bad blew one of the rams and pushed the shaft into the cylinder. Before I started the original build was I satisfied myself that it could be repaired. Happy to report success
The original tube clamps I machined on my screw jacks I used on the drag bike build didn't suit how I wish to use them for street bikes. Lucky I had made them modular to allow different set ups. One of the next big steps is to build jigs for frame straightening. These jigs also need to be modular so they can be used on the fixture table (including other fixture tables I'm planning ) or be easily stored. Just need to find the time and decide on final design.

Bloody awesome Lynton, i'm super envious of your talent and setup!
Ouch, didn't notice that before, i'd be pissed about that as well.
Nope, but a sheet of glass and some wet and dry should sort it.... :P
Haven't got access to jack shit at my current gig, driving me up the wall.
More I have at home the happier I am lol
Just picked up a cylinder boring bar, valve grinder
and valve seat cutter to add to the collection.....
Unfortunately it will be after the trip to Japan next year
before I get a chance to set them up sighs
And here I am flat out trying to justify buying some decent tooling for the lathe and a 4 jaw chuck... really wish I could come up with a set of outside jaws for my 3 jaw chuck too. FML.
Trust me you don't want what it takes to afford tooling sighs....
18 plus mths waiting for one at the right price
Never going out, never spending money and living on things
like frozen fish and veg sighs....
You might have a drama finding jaws unless you know what brand chuck
and they sell them, I hardly use mine but dose come in handy btw I hate using
the four jaw but only way to do some jobs
Rule of thumb is tooling cost at least as much as you pay for the machine
My Machine was free :S
I wish the burwel sand blast cabinet and a machine plate to match the borer
I payed for today were..... Sighs I think I have a sickness
