yup, the high beam has 15 deg lenses and low beam has 45 deg, the headlight horizontal angle will be adjustable both at the headlight mounts inside the mask and the mask's itself
Nice work mate.
thanks Si!
I put my sensor in one of the cam end bungs. Better being in the head as it gives a more realistic view of engine and combustion temps. Just used a GM coolant sensor. Then I think you give it 5v from the sensor 5v supply from the microsquirt the connect the other pin to the cts wire on the microsquirt. Select gm sensor from the drop down menu in tunerstudio to get the pre calibrated settings
You can put it in the sump if you want, but in my opinion it isn't a good spot. It takes a long time to warm up and never really goes over about 75deg where as the head temps are higher and fluctuate up and down with load and road speed etc so give alot better reference for your warm up tables etc.
That vacuum block looks great. Should be ok. Still put a fuel filter in the line to the map sensor as well though.
I had the same problem with the 2 male serial port fittings between the blue tooth dongle and lead. I bought a double ended female (ooh er missus) adapter to join them together.
thanks mate! i'll use a GM CLT sensor either, gotta look at the mega manual to refresh my memory at what temp it indicates 'hot'
do you use choke or else during warm up?
You set the limits for hot warning and hot danger. So don't matter what the actual temps are. It's just that if you go off sump temp, the engine will be up to temp and want the warm up enchantment stopped after about 3 mins. But the sump oil will only be about 25 - 30 degrees so you would have to call that hot as far as the WUE goes. But after 10 mins or so the sump oil will be fully heated to 75 deg. Where as if you go off the head, in 3 mins it will read 75 deg, turn off WUE, general running is about 85-110. I set the hot danger to 125. I have seen 140 while doing early garage tuning lol
i see, never heard of the 'hot danger' though, thought a clt sensor just says that the engines warmed up...
so you don't use any external devices, just warm up 'enchantmens'?
also, dis you try the boost control solenoid kit operated directly by the ms? cause i bought it too
The warning and danger are just yellow and red limit markers on the gauges in the software.
My TB's do have a fast idle lever on them (gpz1100). So when I start, I normally put this on when cold, start, leave it running at a fast idle for about 30 seconds, then jock it off, while its doing this do a quick check of fuel pressure, leaks etc. Then I put me gear on while it's warming up. When it gets to 70 deg my wue stops and it's purely running on the fuel table and off I go. All subsequent starts I just start and go.
But thinking about it as I have changed the gauges and can't see the temp any more, I might fit a warm up led on the dash. This will go out when it gets to temp so I know it's purely operating on the ve table. You will see all this data on your tablet anyway so all good.
failed to find another appropriate spot for the clit sensor [lol] on the head, perhaps i should make a sandwich adapter to the head oiling hard line? or screw it directly into the cam cover?
concerning the tablet, hopefully i won't have drama with it loosing connection to the ms... or mind fucking from the megatune app whatever its name
