I was using the 2000x1000 but they also had 2 of the 3000x1000, it was superb to use the machined surface was great to use with a vernier height gauge and the jig clamp system couldn't have been better just endless possibilities of setup with all the accessories in the tooling rack. If money wasn't an issue I'd have one in a heartbeat.
I have never used one but ever time I looked at one
I just thought how good is that. Larry won't be in the
same class but do they even lift bro lol
Why not we done enough kwaka parts so far
got to pay for this fucking thing some how lol
It does a killer job!
It does amost too good a job - reckon paint will stick to that? :P
Funny you say that, we have been expemiting with diffrent
processes and technics to suit the finish best suiting the part.
Eg we found ultrasonic give a better match on org z factory finish.
As for paint I myself have yet to try but from my information it works well.
I have found tho that after cleaning and the
surface finish that dosnt oxide its hard to want and paint them
You recon you'd get an early GSXR frame in that cabinet ?
Not without modification but I have seen a air lock type deal
that you do half and turn it around. At this point it is on the
end of a long list of things to do or if there is a reason to do it.
Wouldn't need to polish it not a bad idea tony
Blog update on Felix

Good work on the blog Lynton.
Thanks si
more updates.......
as part of the upgrades I still needed to find a home for the machine tooling.
This gets rid of the machine trolly freeing up floor space but also I designed it so the lift trolly I brought and modified fitted under
the shelf saving space. The lift trolly was to save my back cause this shit is fucking heavy ( roatry table is + 50 kg )
Part of the reason the machine trolly was so heavy was it had round stock of the back of it as well. Solved by useing the dead space behind the mill while I was at it. I am pissed of tho I had to buy one lentgh of rhs, the rest is made out of left overs, scrap and salvage. Mind you most of this workshop is recyceled in some way.
only cut it up a little bit I swear

So Shiny - tis a shame I'll probably be covering it in paint!
At least the paint has a good surface to etch to now :-)
