There were a few guys running Nascar plants at the boat races last week.
Some of them reckon you can pick one up second hand for ~15K and they will rev to 9500 for fucking hours.
Best alarm clock ever is one of these going past your tent at 100mph on a 9am Sunday test lap.

a mates motor in the build loosly based on the same setup as nascar specs but more cubes 400+ tunnel rammed twin 1050's and is planning to be more streetable than the 800 horse procharged 383 that was in it , haha doubt it

Mate of my Dads "John Refern" was one of the Mechanics on one of the big unlimited Hydro's Bayswater Bulk , whilst in Aust she raced Miss Bud at both lake epalock and Hume from memory (Merlin powered cabover boats pushing 160 mph) . John got the bug and bought modified and raced 5L Hydro, Till on a turn at 100mph ish at Waranga basin another boat came up his inside and the rudder malfuncioned when right over the top of John and his boat. John spent 8 months in a coma before his was allowed to pass away.
One of the first men that showed me it is important to treat people with respect , and that the only other thing is going FAST.
