thanks heaps for support mates! real appreciate! remember the rear sets aint cnc milled but sawn with a hand pendulum jig saw then ground with an angel\m/grinder and files so any wanker with those tools and free time on his hands can do the same hehe

after all my jig saw died in pain but i necromanced her and made the parts which r rear master cyl bracket, rear brake caliper bracket and steering dampers mounting bar's weld on plate /bah!/ rear master cyl brackets not quite finished with levellin the surfaces but already good for tryin on made from meteorite grade ally it real pain in arse to be finished with files worse than mild steel later i'll made a coupla reliefs innit

Listen up, watch out for the starter button on those Busa handlebar switchgear, they are a shitter !! Intermittent starting problems on mine were hard to trace due to connection probs on the go button.[xx(] Sixteen gazzillion tiny metal bits inside... :(

Looking at the side view of the bike I can see a sculpted solo seat with springs old Brit bike stle, set up high near the tank? Bobber style?

Ahh shit, I see you've set the pegs right back so you'll be lying on it ?

yeah push bikes seat and snivel tank r history gonna make a new ally seat and tank the seat must be pretty high 100mm above the rear wheel so as my knees wouldnt touch any thing hot or cool lol the tank is goona be much longer for me to lean on it comfortably and both tank and seat must be removed as a single piece as <s>AMA regulations</s> safety and comfort of service demand

Problem I had was getting it to start at all. It was a double problem in the end.

Bike started fine sometimes, one hit of the button. Blast round all day then after stopping for a while the button was dead, nada. :(
Firing the supercharger and engine was killing the stock batteries within weeks. The drain was so big the battery couldnt recover quick enough no matter how long it was left on an Optimate between runs.
So I changed to an Odessys Xtreme and it was fine except the intermitent dead starter button.

My mate Mark spent ages circuit testing the starter motor, earth's, etc and the starter button showed no signs of any probs. Bastard !
Then by pure chance the fault showed on the starter button after hours of testing. Only one way to sort it, replace the whole left hand switchgear. You can strip the starter button and clean all the contacts, but its never the same, it stays dodgy. ;)

The only bike model I can think of to describe the seating position I am visualising for your bike is the Confederate Hellcat.

if there r any trouble with buttons or switches i'll fix it i used to fix buttons or even added new buttons in the tight room new stronger contacts can be made from stainless steel sheet and will last forever only can-bus fly by wire systems can discourage me... for awhile

nah why u cant lean on the hell cat coz it doesnt have a usual tank from my poor memory my riding position is usual for drag bikes i can completely lie on the tank with bent arms or straighten them and raise from the tank the feet take their place automatically with 1 move

Hey Surt,i dont know what the ruskie saying is but our version is "necessity is the mother of invention" Fuck me i'm absolutly gobsmacked with the ammount of work and a fair bit of alchemy you have performed! now for the questions..with your increase in capasity,the turbo and injection obviously the power will rise substantialy.so what about the bottom end/rods will they be strong enough, and being pushrod will it be able to rev to make that large turbo work without valve float?or is it the old method of push it till it explodes and start again cause you have proven to be having a fucking large set of balls.and with all that spinning /whirring components just under your scrotum i would be purchasing a bullet proof vest and fashioning a set of bullet proof undies..mate im so looking forward to this beast in the future..and as always look after yourself you crazy fucker im sitting here with a grin on my face a mile wide thanks....sincerely morry

bloody hell Morry ur putting me in an awkward position u old dingo with singin ur praises! yup ur guess is correct im gunna pump it until it blows although rev limit will be set around 8k i'll also use forged lo comp pistons billet and heat treated ally con rods of same design as top fuellers' and water/metho injection
push rod motors r the ones that bark in top fuel dragsters /cars/ dont they? tougher valve springs damned sure
so the real weakest links gonna be the bloody g'box but i could make fatter gears if mother of invention calls
as for bullet proof diapers i can tell u Morry by secret ive just proceeded to fabbin the above mentioned one piece tank/seat unit after i finally sorted out with its design (took 3 ys and shit loads of sketches) the 3mm thick ally seat will be 500mm long and 400mm at widest and will be set pretty high above the turbine the bloody engine has initially such a rediculous air flow that i decided to hook up the turbo as near as possible

so i was in awe when occasionally found out that the bucks i made for my previous ally tank r pretty much the same as the upper templates just a coupla cm shorter and about 1 cm higher so i just slightly corrected their shape and welded em on however another mysterious coincidence i call occult bike building hehe

i been thinkin a lot about the tank design and rejected a pentagram shaped tank which looked terrific but leaning on the star edge... animal design was rejected as well on the same reason thus the tanks gotta be made like a jet fighter turbine scoops i used to be a great fan of them jet fighters at school and drew hundreds of f15 f16 f18 migs tornados and even saabs lol never liked f118 stealth fighter a fugly toad

now another great deed is finished - designing and fabbing dampers mounts i tried the dozens of variants on paper but wasnt satisfied i wanted for the rear mounts not to spoil frame look havin 2 narrow down tubes i could have just welded on 2 rods aside or just one rod across but thatd look fugly er so i decided on removable cross bar so enjoy the fruit of my 6 month occasional lol thinkin i reckon the output might be of use for some
