Hey Richy, I've looked up the Roads & Traffic Act for NSW & it clearly states that if you're driving an insanely modified, non registerable, unroadworthy, 200db vehicle in a closed industrial estate on a Sunday after midday & you're wearing a long sleeve flannie & have a beard, then you are not required by law to wear a helmet you big safety concious poofter.
Oh... wait a minute... it's so we can't see the terrified look on your face innit?
BTW, I've posted that last vid on Dungpunchers.com & Pete is their 'Buttboy of the month' for July. [V]

I'm sending a Hi-Vis (Tool) vest & one of those orange pushbike flags in the mail for you too Rich, you never know, a rogue B Double could appear out of nowhere & run your scaredy cat arse over. :D

Hey large just an off the wall question , what do you think the total weight of the cart is now? 150 kg? Thinking about power to weight comparison bike to Kart and grip of different contact patch etc .

I think it would have to be close to 150ish remoho

btw that 35cc kart you posted needs a busa engine[:p]

Large your right about the busa motor but the 8 year olds driving it would think it was gay and decide they needed me to take it to booster for extra treatment lol There are a few carts down this way I might be able to get my hands on at the right price, was thinking maybe a old GPX600 motor in the shed might find its way into one , and to try to keep up with you I might look around and find that dusty NOS bottle !

We didn't have the earth on the regulator hooked up so the kart was cutting out badly at revs, which is why it stalled in the browneye vid.

If I can get the wing on and get it to stop catching fire I'll get a better vid on the weekend

Fitted an Akro muffler (thanks Ben) to try and quieten it a bit... Also did some wiring and fitted a bomb swith and push button start, then I had heaps of problems getting the ECU and clocks to work together. I'd been disconnecting the battery when not using the kart, but I left it connected one night and was woken up by flashing red lights at about 2am...Thought the fire brigade was in my place, turned out the dash had woken up and the HISS light on the dash was active.(fucking bright leds without the cover on)

Took it up to the neighbouring factory- a bit more room to move but the walls come up way too fast, so concentrated on learning how to steer it :D

WinKart for the win. It's got a great turning circle, it almost turns on the spot. How many metres do you get out of a set of tires?
