I have missed this place. Like most of you, life got in the way and in the past years i've found myself in caring for my mum as she has dementia, trying my hardest not to punch 8 layers of fuck out of our teenagers and trying to convince my lovely wife everything is going to be ok. Everything is going to be ok. Trust me.
I Have bought 5 acres in the eastern hills of perth and im in the process of final build plans for our ultimate house and obviously big fucken shed to move into so that one day i can be as cool as Lynton. (although technically angry jesus can never be as cool as bong jesus). I am going to contribute as much to this forum as i can throughout this process because its going to be fucking mental and like watching a bus crash so stay tuned.
Also, I just built a bike in only nine weeks and it fucking nearly broke me but i would love to share it with you and hear your feedback because its a bit mental and doing it in nine weeks was also a bit mental.
I will need to find an image host so hook me up because i seriously dont have the time to research this.

Si, im pretty sure i still pay my membership every year, if not i will renew it. I am happy to support your site for as long as you want to run it. It has been invaluable to so many people and still remains the last bastion of uncensored banter on the web.

For me the forum was mega helpful in the starts of my procrastinating about a build before I had my off and then got the real impetus to get the build off the ground properly.

As far as some forums I've seen vs this one the main thing I've found is the members actually come through with their word which is who I think I am also and it's good to get a kick in the nuts from someone who's also there te next day to help out when needed; Yella!

I've often tried to soldier on with a "bad" idea i.e. My expanding foam seat unit; but all up I'm taking onboard more advice earlier so it's working out better and better as I go along.

I'm a full paid up member and will remain so long after this build as the other builds happening are definitely inspiring me to go on to an 80's style Muscle-Fighter like a GPZ1100 maybe!

Top job by Si to keep the forum afloat and also for the killer T-shirts; my kids love them!

Hello fighter friends.
This wonderful brethren took a down hill for me and many others when the major change over happened some years back.
All the pzazz seemed to fall out as all the new tech happened, now the photo-bucket fiasco is not a good addition.

As other brothers have mentioned I too have made some great mates and met some awesome and not so awesome people and learned a lot from this ASF wonderment devised by Si, thank you for that mate.

My family conditions have recently changed and have now an even bigger shed so will be getting my build on again in the near future as I will have a lot more build time on my hands.

So Ill be back on the ASF line once again.

Suzuki RGV 250 with seat tank exhausts etc built by me, the motor has norton crank 90degee 818cc at the moment, std profile cam Jaguar shortened valves 44.5mm and 40mm. 38mm modified TM mikuni flatslides I did a roller conversion with a straight large needle roller on the t/side and an extra ballrace in a plate mounted outboard of the alternator to control end float. I made patterns and had an alloy cylinder cast, and if ever I can get the machining on it finished it will take displacement to 884cc. This link is an acceleration curve recorded on it's veypor data logger for 1st & 2nd gear(C/R), and RPM graph of the same run.

I’m back. Paid membership and will support where I can but I’m just a truck driver so don’t know what I can do. Haven’t ridden for over 4yrs due to a shattered right humorous and had it rebroken twice and plated now is all good will get another bike in the near future. Cheers guys, back at ASF2018 now :P Should have a test version up in the next day or 2 for a couple of you to start playing with. Cos it's an entirely new system, there's a fair bit of tweaking and testing and configuration involved, but cos it's a tight knit forum, we can also do that while we're actually using it rather than try finish it 100% before using it. So yeh, it's getting there \m/
