Just so's people don't think I spend all my time looking good and rooting hos, I thought I'd update my project status.

I started on a Piranha buggy a year or so ago, but I decided it'd need too many mods to bring it up to date, so I sold it.

I've since invested in most of the bits to make one of these.

http://i363.photobucket.com/albums/oo76/Krasch_Design/Silver Lake 5-11/DSC07129.jpg

It's a Krasch Designs AR51- http://www.rickskraschsite.com/index.php.

The cockpit/rollcage is similar to a Piranha, but the suspension/steering/drivetrain etc is a so much better/newer design

I don't want to fill up ASF with too much off topic stuff (cept for boobies an quedge) so you can see what I'm up to here-

http://www.minibuggy.net/forum/projects-progress/17334-ar51-sydney-australia.html

It's an interesting forum and well worth a look around at some of the cool mini buggys being made and run (mostly) in the US

errrr so were the mods to bring it up to date "not feasible" or were all the mods required to make you fit in it just "not feasible"?..................

got a "large" displacement mota for it?

You blokes are fucking amateurs, you coulda launched the Space Shuttle with that much 'charge' & what's with the Sissy Stick?
I've just put 155/70/13 car tyres on 13x7 deep dish wheels (fully sikazz JDM stretch Bro...), hadta use acetylene on the last one, couldn't get a big enough bang with Aerostart.

Why do a job with the right amount of materials/combustibles, when doubling the dose increases the fun and danger factor?

Is there a holder for a big plastic cup in it somewhere?

I suggest you get yourself some flat track rear tyres because the current tread pattern is not very suitable for the inevitable Fridy night Brookvale beer & buggy burnout sessions.

Yeah Darren told me about the M&M show and I found it on youtubs.

As for TORC, it appears that there isn't a lot of racing going on in NSW so if we want to race it'll prolly be Vic or Qld

Nitrogen at ~300psi is the spring and a bit of oil to control rebound/damping.

Old mate in the factory behind has been helping/cajoling me to get mine finished, now he's ordered all the chassis plates/steering parts and we've bought all the 4130 and square steel to build his chassis and suspension.

It's going to be a bit beefed up and have a few extra bars (that I'll have to add to mine eventually) so he can race.
