Looking good Rich

I sold the old ute/pool so I've got another parking spot.

I did dry July- unofficial version. I discovered there's so many more hours in the day when you're sober.

I'm currently in no alky August.

No ciggie September will be a challenge.

Can't wait for Bender November!

You sold that?
There really is one born every minute eh?

Large

Not really.

I stuck it on Gumtree for 3hunge with a "No low ball offers pls" Got a few 100-150$ offers.

One of the local mechanics wrecks cars then sells the shell to a scrap metal bloke. Reckoned I could strip the bits I wanted and still get at least $200 for it.

So I called him and I got $250 for the car, it looks like I've got a buyer for the radiator for $120 and the canopy is on egay for $150. Got a few other bits off it too, so I should get about 6hunge in total for it.

Arthur Fucking Daley here!

Nup haven't got a clue, I'm just building it . Seems though everyone who walks into my workshop has a different opinion on the matter.

I'm proud of you Rich, but you do realise you're only 1 step away from using rent-a-cars to transport motorcycles don't you?

Suprised you put suspension on the trailer! I would have gone light as possible on the trailer and just strapped the buggies wheels down. Have towed like that on a (Very) lightweight car trailer with no suspension - works pretty well.

Mishdog20
04-09-2014, 04:48 PM
Hmmm, i suppose it would stop shaking the shit out of the trailer and car though Gammaboy, the buggy would ride fine but the car might bounce a bit. I had a jetski trailer without suspension and it was violent enough to break 4 engine mounts on the ski, and every single friggin globe in the trailer...lol. Nah never again.

Large

I want to use the trailer for other things than just the buggy- like moving shit- so suspension is a must.

Anywho, the trailer carried the buggy to and from old mate's farm on the weekend.

http://i937.photobucket.com/albums/ad212/Richard065/001_zps0cadb64d.jpg

And the buggy goes ok-

Seriously, it will get your heart pumping to create something like this out of bare steel and snatch fourth while you're heading straight at the dam wall and you know you did all the welds and bolts up.

Went to another mate's farm on the weekend.

Was a bit hot so the buggy got hot, but was good to have more space to run.

Yesterday I worked out the throttle was only opening about 60% of the available travel.

Methinks there might be more fun to be had...
