Not knowing all that much of the history with you and others Cabbie........but from what little i have read and heard......and seeing the effort you put into building this weapon......i would've been totally fuckin' jacked off with every fuckin' expert out there putting in all their 2 cents worth, and putting everything you do down.....especially as none of them had probably even built anything remotely like this!!!

I know the company that built the turbo kit there is nothing wrong with the kit at all .All you asked for was a turbo kit to fit your engine that YOU supplied . They did not build the motor as you are making out only the kit, which obviously frightened you when you tried wheeling it .It turns out that this engine is one that you had sitting on the garage floor for three years .You brag about how good you are at building these things but you could not even wire the fuel pump round the right way , the engine kill did not work . No oil or water temp lights so how would you know if something was going wrong? When the bike was delivered for the dyno set up there was alloy swarf in the plenum and in the venturi of the carbs from where you had been modifying bits which had to be cleaned out first so what is to say that some of the swarf had not gone down into your engine! You also admit that when you fitted the tank with out a filter you filled the carbs up with dirt. So before slagging others try taking a look in the mirror, you might find the person to blame. How do I know this I work ther part-time.

Ok try this, the head is so warped its beyond skiming, the turbo supplied is a cheap Chineese copy of a Garrett, the turbo was set to 13psi, I wheelie my blade at over 130mph, you set the turbo at 13 psi, sure it shit me up when your only expecting 6 psi!

If your so good why are you dealing with FOUR court cases against you?

cabbie
19-10-2012, 12:40 AM
And lets have it stright about the dirt in the carbs, I got the bike back and put the tank on etc, fired it up and took it for a ride, the bike was running terrible, coughing etc, I opened it up to see if it would clear, thats when it lifted the front wheel, the bike then cut out, I pushed it back to the garage and parked it, that is when I posted it must be due to no fuel filter, the next day I tried the bike and it fired up on 3 cylinders, then all 4 fired up, I tried another ride at low revvs, it ran for about 100 yards and died, I pushed it back and removed the carbs, there was no dirt in them at all!, I put the crabs back with filter and managed to get it fired up with a car battery, thats when we shot the vid of it puffing out steam, since then it never ran again, the motor was inspected by a friend and his report was,

The turbo is a cheap Chineese copy of a Garrett, the carbs are way off, No.4 cylinder is scratched due to no fuel, the head is too warped to skim and a bin job, the head gasket you used was NOT the correct type etc etc.

I cleaned all the alloy bit out the plenum and even washed it before putting back so don't start all that bollox! I gave you a good running blade engine, you retured a blown blade engine fit for the bin!

Turbo was a genuine garrett hybrid put together to suit your 900 cc application , with a 7lb set wastgate. The headgasket was built by cometic at 70 thou thickness which is the correct gasket for your bike.Your motor was non running when it arrived , if the engine was blown how did it make the power outputs shown on the dyno sheet. If there had been a problem it would have been fixed before you had your bike back.If a problem had accured after you had taken the bike away , malc does offer a warrenty on his work so why did you not take it straight back, instead of slagging him on various forums and having other people pull it appart (which voids an warrenty offered) who obviously do not know what they are looking at, as you would have gone to them in the first place to build you a turbo kit.

cabbie
19-10-2012, 04:58 AM
Sorry but I rode the blade this engine came out of, thats why I bought a complete bike to check the motor ran ok, it did I rode it for about 10 miles, the engine was then removed and put in the project bike then given to you, the correct gasket is 40thou not 70!

Why didn't I bring the bike back? the shit attitude when asked about the damage you did to the paint work, plus the time you guys keep a bike for each visit, that turbo is a cheap Chinese copy, end of.

So, the engine is scrapped, you have my money, your biblical disclaimer on your site gives you the right to do whatever you want without come backs, not much more to say really is there.

A 70 thou (1.75mm) headgasket drops the C/R to approx 8.5-1 on the 11-1 C/R 'Blade engine.

Cabbie and Witchunter.
Somewhere between your two versions of events is the truth.
Neither of you is going to admit making any mistakes.
So take your bitch fight off the site.....you can carry on the he did this/they did that forever but nothing will change.
Cabbie. If there are issues such as a Chinese copy, show us pics and/or take legal action for supplying cheap knock offs. There are plenty of turbo boys on here that will be be to spot the difference

cabbie
19-10-2012, 05:58 AM
Will be happy to post up detailed shots of the turbo unit, I didn't name the company here so I'm not wanting a bitch fight! I was just updating what had happened for those that asked, seems like "someone" informed the turbo company about this thread, I wonder who that could be?, I picked up another engine today and will take a few days to get it clean, then the bike will have a normal set up but work, will be nice to get a ride on it at last :)

With regard to court cases you mention i know that malc has already successfully sued someone for slanerous comments about himself and his bussiness and i think there is another case coming up, perhapes you would like to join the list cabbie. I know he has made copies of EVERYTHING that has been said.

It just shits me that people get all butt hurt because some people don't like their build, fuck I told Pete that his busa didn't float my boat and he didn't get the shits, he took the comment for what it's worth and that is fuck all, I don't like every fighter on the planet and I'll say so, but cabbie has built a bike, that turns heads and every cunt knows how to do it better, stronger, cheaper. Why can't cunts just let things be ?

Would not be the internet if people didn't try and make them self feel big at other peoples expense or get into pissing contests for fun.
Not a big fan of the way Cabbie burst into tears every time some one post a slightly negative comment or even a different point of view but do like the bike, turned out tits . More detail and work put in than any of my half arsed slap together jobs.

building something your own way to your own likes doesn't-never-rarely-will have 100% of people behind you liking it.
if he chucks his toys out of his pram every-time some-one posts a dislike, then dont post pictures on public forums

for me Cabbie i think what youve built it superb, and there are a lot of wanna-bee builders out there ready to piss on anything that is diff ,so move the fuck on and enjoy what youve built, good job chap.

So, moving on.

Heres the replacement motor I picked up yesterday, covered in corrosion as all early blade motors are, first step acid wash
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/cabbie1/M%20I%20900/IMG_0812.jpg

Next some alloy bright, soap wash, and dry, all the corrosion is gone, still need finishing in places but not bad for a few hours work.

Looks Hot Cabbie. if you can be arsed later on persist with the turbo thing... you'll love it. it took me 8 yrs to get mine right. i have been tempted to put it all back to stock but now it's all setup and sorted i'm glad i kept going. you'd be one of only a few that can say they literally built their bike from ground up.. hats off to ya. i've had a lot of "motorcyle gurus" rubbish my build along the way. "stock pistons will never work", "why bother, it's just a zxr", "what's the point, you can't even use the 105hp it had standard". to all these so motorcyle industry experts.. I say Fuck You....... your just jealous. Most of them change oil filters and spark plugs for a living and call them selves mechanics...I love the bike Cabbie.

Serious question, not stirring the pot,
How do you get on in the UK now, for registering a homemade frame ?
Do you go through the SVA / IVA "one off" registration ?
or does it just use Blade numbers and dont tell anyone ?
Will insurance cover you for "I built it in me shed" frames ?

Hi kiwi/Cuz.
We've just adopted the national COP in Qld so not sure but Shaun at Pommy Choppers should be able to help.
I think Robmac and Sharky have had some dealing with the engineers at Qld transport.
