Hey all u fighters!
My name is Damian and I'll ride just about anything, the faster the better and if it don't swallow petrol, well... I'll leave the rest of that sentence up to you.
I had a cbr400rr strretfighter with an 01 R1 front end with custom billet triples, teardop mirrors and braided lines, lol, thats about all I could afford to do to it. She recently blew her donkey so I have pulled her apart and sold all the bits on ebay with only a few left to go. My next ride is a 99 GSXR600 and would love to know a few inside pointers on this new mount...
If anyone is keen, I have posted my triples for sale in the buy and sell section on here, which I did because I know these triples are perfect for street fighter application...
Nice to meet all u fighters,
Damian.

Thanks for the welcome guys! It is a shame that I had to pull her apart, but it had to be done. It was some of the pictures on here a couple of years ago when I stacked that motivated me fighter it. After 5.5 years all up of loyal service, a beg stack (snapped the inside ball of my left ankle off!), and a fightering, she went hard all the way. Finishing up with something like 170000 on the clock, thats not bad for a 400 that never once had valves done and carbies balanced only once in my time, and that was before the stack, lol! I live by the premium unleaded and fully syn oil bible, after all, its gotta be well lubed! She went hard in her last days, credit all the way. Now for gixxer6 '99 that is about to be acquired. I'll look to keep it in tidy order and cant wait to ride something with a front end I can trust, never trusted the front on the 400, so its been 6 years or more since my bike before that one that I have enjoyed corners! Bring it on!

Sadly, dont hate me all you fighters, the gixxer is going to stay fully faired. I would love to fight it, fuck i would LOVE to fight it, but I have not the time or finances being a uni student. Perhaps a bit later on though. If I was to fight it, I'd fit a gsxr750 or 1000 usd front end with custom triples, all braided lines and hoses, polish some bits, anodise the rims, get a pro paint job, custom seat unit, mean looking headlights, tidy mirrors and some aftermarket digital dash in a billet housing. And that would be about it, maybe do really trick stuff over time as my knowledge got better, like shiny single sided swinger, funky discs and big bad calipers, upgraded sports shock for the rear. Ha! Then I'd prob rip all the good bits off it and stick it all in/on a gixxer thou rolling chassis. Hmmm, I think I just spent my first two years wages after uni!!! Fighters are some of the trickest looking machines on the planet, I love what is possible, what many of you have done and what I too will do one day, damn it!
