I guess you can't help yourself being a wanker Des. Whats that stupid pit of plastic around the outside of your guadges? Looks like a fairing to me.
Least I've stayed true to what i like, suddenly after 20 years of fairings on bikes, you think its not cool. What a tard
Yet your bike looks like a fuken xmas tree and runs what low 11's and you reckon fairing are tupperware, does that make you one of santa little fuking elfs? ho ho lol
Bikes are about riding dude.

Thats the whole idea of the shirt, to piss off poofters with fairings! :D

19-03-2008, 08:31 PM
Hey if you want to show the rest of the true Streetfighter community your true attitude, far be it from me to stop ya. however I've know you for over 20 years and every bike you've owned has had a fairing. Even that Kat you recently sold. So it makes me wonder if you truely beleive this, or like your bike, are only trying to portray an imagine.
Funny that you picked the "Look at me, I'm a dork" image though after so many years of nice bikes.
Geez I could sit here and critisize your bike choice/style/bling, but why would I. I'll save it when we reach the beams 400 metres down the track and show you how a bike with a fairing and half the engine capicity not only is quicker but does it in style.
evilkarl
19-03-2008, 08:32 PM

Take is easy karl, lightn up man. Des is a cool character mate, its all in light hearted humour in here man. We all have our tastes in bike and how we chose to ride em or show em. Des aint out provin himself, he rides his ride and thats what its about. Got a problem with that, then its YOUR problem.
evilkarl
19-03-2008, 09:53 PM
My problem is that he critisizes others rides. Thats everyones problem and an insult to anyone with a fairing. Why can't i throw some back without being made out to be the villan. I'm not the one riding a xmas tree making out i'm cool when really its all a imagine and a hypocritical one at that.
evilkarl
19-03-2008, 09:54 PM
If I were Jealous, I'd just buy one. I ride my ride because I like the bike and I ride to ride.
And for the record i didn't critisize Greenmists 1400, I mentioned the things I liked and didn't like about it. He did post it up for comment and i never mentioned the bike, but the colour.

19-03-2008, 10:45 PM
i would have classed a fairing as the body work not a screen cos as far as im concerned thats all des has on his ride and i thought this was a streetfighter site anyway so dont take offense evilkarl its just a t-shirt man i mean look at our ASF t-shirts " Gday officer put it on my tab "does that mean if i wear that shirt i should be a smartarse to cops[?] i think you are reading to much into this dude

Calm down mate. My bike is fully faired and yet I see the shirt for what it is - a bit of a laugh. Build a bridge and get over it.

This is Australia's largest STREETFIGHTER site. STREETFIGHTERS dont have full fairings.
If you come one here with a full faired bike and take offence to the above t-shirt, it's not my problem.
If i went on a full faired bike site and posted that t-shirt, i would expect to get bitch-slapped all around the screen.

I said I personally don't think this slabby will make a good SF, maybe the next one as this one will look great with what I am doing to it. Anyway I'm over it, no point waging a war based on differing opinions. What one person thinks is awesome another thinks is crap. If ya don't like objective opinions then don't post ya bike for comment or at least don't get upset. Yes this is a street fighter site but it doesn't mean every steet fighter pic deserves everyone to drool over it.

Not a bad idea Des, but $4k to save about 15Kg is allot.
Sure they are great looking wheels, the only downfall is you probably can't take them with you to the next bike if/when you buy another one and it will seriously increase the ticketed price on the GSX if ever you take it in.
Guess it comes down to whether your going to keep the bike long term.

I reckon the busa ones might work Des...the standard 1400/busa rear wheels differ in the rear disc size(but not the mountings) and the cush drive mount/casting of the wheel but looking at the carrozzeria wheels it appears as if they have their own sprocket mount so they should be a good thing.
Interestingly enough they have a listing for TLthou wheels they are the same.
