5 years back I missed out on one in ruff running condition by 2 days , it was in a servo shed I asked about it 2 days later I came back to take to the owner (fucker sold it to some ass that prob still has it in a shed rotting for $500) I'm pissed I didnt just stick around till he turned up to but it.

Rode one for 5 years in the 80s. Great bike and handled surprisingly well. Tank looks a bit small.

My grandfather and uncle both worked for Yamaha here in Australia. My first road bike was an RZ500 and I will always have a soft spot for the tuning forks but at the end of the day Suzuki ticks all the boxes for performance, looks and price.

Tony Nitrous
03-09-2013, 08:22 PM
Had several of each of the Japs and a few other brands.I find Suzuki's go faster, are harder to kill and easier to chop and change parts. Not sentimental, just not allowed to have fragile toys anymoreand too dumb and lazy to do much maintenance or fix things.

Probably why they dominated the drags, dyno comps,
land speeders and used to be so popular with stunters
and fighter builders for quite a while, big Suzuki's have
always been a popular place to make big horsepower.
