Shark RSI helmets, were $500+ now only $200. Most of the ones i like only come in XS,S,XL,XXL, but there are afew models where more sizes are available. So if you have a Shark head......have a look....

So they are wrong for the bike ?

We'll look back in a couple of years and go Fuck that was good value, especially that Heron Slabby that is pure Porn!

I believe having swingarm pivot above Sprocket centre induces squat.

I'm sure there are some smarter blokes than me out there but bike would tend to wheelie more with the setup they run????

that Heron Slabby that is pure Porn!

The message I got from the lad looking at the Slabbie was:

This bike has been rebuilt from the ground up and everything has been refurbished
or is brand new e.g. full engine rebuild, fork rebuild, wheels fully refurbed, callipers,
master cylinders, all bearings. Fully rebuilt using stainless bolts, these have even been
machined to give an extra angle and look very special.
This bike looks absolutely brand new and the photo’s do not do it justice. It has had
thousands of pounds spent on it, as well as hundreds of hours of labour
This bike has done less than 300 dry summer miles since rebuild.
Just some of the spec is as follows:
WP Shock
WP Steering Damper
Modified freshly rebuilt forks
Astralite Wheels 17”
JMC Swingarm
Goodridge Oil Cooler & Pipes
Full Stainless Race System – Mirror polished
Ducati 998 Clutch & Brake Master Cylinders & Levers
Braided Lines
Nissin 4 Piston callipers
RGV 250 Seat Unit
And much more.

The first one on the list looks to ( 04 05 ZX 10)
I know some would prefer to have an under tray fitted but im not too worried about making it pretty under the tail cause it will only get stone chips etc anyway

Cant help myself, Too many nice tail conversions done in here to look at so I have been thinking about finding a ZX6 tail for mine, I would fit it after I get it on the road though

What were you highlighting there pete? Returns not accepted?
Pretty understandable, The postage back to the USA would be way more than the price of buying the tail & having it shipped here from the USA, Postage to the USA from Aus is almost about double compared

I have received a few freebies due to this fact, I was actually sent a sent of blue bars & the wrong bend when I ordered the last set from the USA (FLY MX bars currently fitted to my bike), They told me to keep them due to the high return postage cost & sent me the correct bars I ordered, Sold the blue ones & got my bars pretty much for nothing, Top service from the USA, Everyone makes mistakes but they kindly fixed it without any hassle

Not sure, A quick message will get the answer, If I really want something over there that does not have Aus postage cost listed I will generally ask but sometimes I will just bid & if they may have bidding restrictions that will not allow you to bid?, Had some chuck a wobbly & try & tell me postage will be millions of dollars etc etc, The last one like that told me the postage would be around $50 or something for a small item but it turned out to be $13, No problem & sent me an invoice so was all good in the end

OH, The first one at the top of the list when I click on the link I posted is the 04 05 ZX10 tail?
If your signed in to ebay maybe your ebay settings change the order but I cant see how?

Anyway this is the one I was talking about that does include the undertray>

Not bad looking for the price even if they are cheaper versions fiberglass is easy to reinforce & modify etc, Certainly could not make these for $15-$20

they are cheap, as i paid $380 for my last tail from america, the latest one big kev got me a good deal on ,

NINJAINOZ

Was that $380 including postage?
From what I have found I thought $200 maybe $300 for a tail was reasonable, I spose some models have more detail & shape & some are known to be better quality that you would expect to pay more for

I plan on finding a new ZX6 or similar race tail for $25 maybe? See what happens?

I have not decided but I would prefer a Kawasaki tail of some kind? Not sure how a ZX10 tail would go?

Yeah I did see that one but I would prefer a fiberglass race style tail & they dont cost much more, + I could have a fiberglass tail modified (extended at the front maybe) & mounting brackets etc put in if needed to fit it
I hope you did not offend anyone posting that link
