hey lathboy , i know its stupid to say but maybee he has built it like that to make sure all is good with clearance and when done he will take of and send to fab shop to have made up corretly ?? i used to do it when i was doing custom header work on range rovers then make a jig and get it done properly ?? maybee thats wat he did ??

Maybe but why would you fully weld everything. If you were making a jig off them they shouldn't be fully welded IMO so to avoid warping with heat.

He didn't build that bike he bought it, the bike was in the workshop nextdoor to mine for several months having work done to it, the frame is a fuckin mess, neither of the two main frame rails over the top of the tank are symetrical, the top rail runs all the way from the headstock to the rear wheel spindle in one run but they couldn't get them symetrical, the tank was made by a guy who works at a nuclear power plant (think Homer Simpson) The whole bike is a fuckin mess, VMAX forks, ZX12R wheels, It was brought down to the guy nextdoor to me to try and sort out the mistakes, but there was only s much he could do to it.
