So, now's the time to man the fuck up & pledge allegiance to the mighty Katana by prioritising your builds & getting stuck in, I'm proposing an ASF Katana build off over a 6 month period starting on April Fools Day,

OK gumbo's. Looks to me that the dead line has been and gone and you all (most)forgot to post up pics of you're finished Kat's.
So maybe as AFR 2014 is rapidly approaching you can use this as an amended date to post up pics of all your finished Kats. With an extra 6 months under your belt there's going to be some awesome examples to look at

Mine was finished, then it ate a crank bearing. It's now more apart than it has been since I first built it!

After all the shit I've been through with the old man and my internal fuckups , life is about normal (for a rannga with a mohawk can get anyhow) I've finally started to turn a spanna on my popup and picked up a almost complete donor GSX750 to build the pop.

Shit did I say AFR 2014, what was I thinking of of course I meant 2020. You're right these lovelies need to mature like a fine wine. Anyway I heard that TK finished his Kat and won his own trophy.

Mmmm, I'm wondering if you get fed up with all this old aircooled stuff you might want to give your clutch a new home ?

That looks like about a 1540cc big block with Cosworth forgies, straight cut primary gears, billet clutch & Carillo rods to me.
Maybe you could use Simon's little 1260 for a starter motor. ouch!

    Did you buy them RS40s?

How about we make the Xmas drags the new deadline?

And here I am, still being fucked around on an 1170 kit, and having fucked a pair of liners pressing them out of my flogged out barrel so I could skim the bottom of the cylinder to fit a set of zx9 slugs I had lying around.
    I seriously give up.
