This will be a big weekend for a few reasons for me...

On Monday is my 40th birthday as well as my first AFR for the last 3 years due to being stuck in the NT. I'm expecting Saturday night to be a big one

Looking forward to catching up with old mates I've met from previous AFRs.

Am thinking that now this weather system is hanging around for the weekend, I might change plans and head down highway. Nothing fun about riding glorious roads in the wet.... It's like offering a fat kid a plastic donut, wets the appetite but doesn't offer any satisfaction.... Lol

I'm out too, apart from the fact half the roads I'll use to get there will probably be cut I managed to squash the end of my finger yesterday. I'll have another think about it in the morning though.

Thanks to the weather didn't manage to pick the bike up from the dyno this arvo. Left work and got stcuk in the carpark known as the Western freeway. Shop was gonna close before I made it there. Gonna pick the bike up tomorrow instead. I'll decide what I wanna do in the morning but with this shit weather I'm not overly keen

Due to unforeseen stuff I'm out too. A little disappointed as this is extremely last minute and would have been my 8th consecutive AFR/NFR. Muchos sadness. Sorry lads, be sure to take lots of piccies.

Just talking to my old man at Lismore and he said 200mils overnight and still pissing down, he reckons there'll be heaps of roads cut. My guess is what's not cut will now be riddled with pot holes, have fun guys.

    At the Commercial Hotel Casino.
    Warm and dry.
Didn't see a spot of rain between Brissy and here.

Beaudesert, Rathdowny, Summerland way, Kyogle was fine.
Couple of damp spots, couple of pot holes but nothing major.
    Had a good ride down.
