I'm looking at buying an Ebay engine from Rockhampton, the seller is OK to send it but has no experience with any local transport mobs so my question is; do any of you NQers know of a decent, cheap, reliable freight company up that way that I can use to get it down to me in Melbourne?

Road or rail TK ? We are right up with the times here and have both. There is the usual ipec etc. how soon do you need it picked up ? I should be able to get it to se Qld for you in a week or two as I am heading down that way in a van.

Righto mate, at this rate TK might get his engine most of the way for free. If one of the boys heading down to NFR in a car or ute etc is willing to take it....
Bloody hell! This does sound good, thanks lads.
I hadn't thought about rail freight, I think that might be a good option, pretty sure it's a fair bit cheaper than road.
