It's official, I'm moving to Brissy

Well, just got the official word that I'm moving up north. Driving up with the car trailering the bike. Leaving Melbourne on Sunday and heading for the warmer weather.

Looking at hopefully finishing off the bike shortly and getting it rego'd asap so that I can ride the damn thing. I'll be asking for good riding roads soon hopefully

I'll start looking for a place to live shortly up there so will be keen to know the areas to live and which to avoid.

    Jules

Loads of good roads mate. I know South Side and a few North but there's enough on here to get you going.

Where are you going to be working Wacky. We could recommend a few areas then. If its FIFO then its only a question of a taxi ride to the airport. Plenty of good bike roads north and south that members will show you.

The further north you go, the worse it gets.

I'll be working in Milton and will hopefully be looking at getting the bike registered asap. Not much left to do on her.

Won't be FIFO, based out of the office as well as trips to Chinchilla to our base as well as looking for workshop area in Gladstone.

Milton is relatively easy to get to from north or south. Plenty of traffic in the morning and arvo of course. A lot of apartments and townhouses in the surrounding areas and close to restaurants. A short taxi ride to the nightlife. Some good bike roads, Mount Coot Tha, Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious on your doorstep. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en...&ved=0CIsBELYD

Hey boys, been pretty flat out since I've got here. Just about taking on a new job which might end up driving me insane, but we'll see.

We'll have to see when a few of you are free again for a Sunday and organise a lunch and beer drinking. Might just head back to the Breakfast Creek again.

Could be on the cards. Weather is looking ok for the weekend. Might be my last chance to catch up for a few months. Looks like I will be heading to Port Hedland to look after a rail project for FMG.
