Decided to tackle the triples today. I want to make a billet set, but for now I will have to make do with what I have.
Stock top triple drilled out to suit risers
I decided that these parts were in the way and asked them politely to piss off. Mr hacksaw kindly obliged
To ensure that the washers have a good surface i cleaned up the bottom a bit as the old lock had part of the casting in my way

Blasted and ready for powder coating
Get the bars fitted tonight, now checking what extra length I need for the brake lines. Also fitted my new Rizoma grips...sexy
Also, the final fitting of the subframe once I got it back from the powder coaters. looks just about stock now

Got my wheels back from Powder coating and put some new rubber on them
Had Rod come over so that we could drink beer and brainstorm
Then we came up with an idea for mounting the speedo from the riders. Started off like this..
And ended up looking like this

Electrics are now mostly done. Put the tak on and just placed the h/light in place to get an idea what she looks like

Loving the work mate. Looking grouse. I have a K2 1000 that will be converted from plastic fantastic to something more to my liking. I'm buying up parts for that i will be starting soon. So far I have braided lines, a K6 rear that will need a custom subframe made up and a fatbar conversion kit from the uk to go on along with a pair of Leo Vince GP pipes to go on as well.

Ok, so who's good with photoshop?? Trav is already having a crack but keen to see what other people can come up with. Trav came up with an initial mock-up, which i then butchered to death in Paint as that is where all my skills are at.... (maybe not)
Anyways, this is along the lines I'm thinking. Base white with some red going through. thinking of making a white pillion seat (I may regret this later on, but what the hell)
