I have been looking at CBR1000RR exhausts for a while now and finally took a punt on one for 30 bucks, I don't think it's even beeoa running bike!
You would think it was made to go under the tail of a GPZ1100.

I want it to sit back 2-3inches and up about 1 inch and of corse I'll open it up and take most of the guts out.

    Yeah im pretty happy.

The monoshock will mount at the same level as the cross brace bar and the exhaust runs down the right side of the frame to meet up with the cutout in
The R1 swingarm and ill run it at the same angle as the tail support bar.

And i wanna run one of those tiny gell batteries. if that dossent work...
Fuck it ill just bump start it so i can keep my exhaust!

those are the go! cheap too.

yeah there will be a heap of room left for the mono and electrics, as i will be running the exhaust down the side of the frame to meet up with the cutout in the R1 swinger.

A few people I've spoken to about the the new hi-tech batteries say they may not be 100% reliable when hooked up to old style charging systems due to the way the current "spikes" up and down and the way the older reg/rec draw/control current, all just in "theory" as nobody know's anyone that has fitted one into an old bike.

the oldest bike I know that has one fitted is a 916 owned buy a bloke that has a fetish about removing weight from it, can't remember what it's called but he just got a whole lot of bolts made in the USA from something lighter/stronger than his titanium ones.

Hi Jules I haven't bought from them yet but intend to very soon. I've watched this site a lot and them seem to have really good products at very competitive prices and a good range of products too. Will let you know how I get on with them
