could be an awkward spot, but ask some "paintless dent repair" places. doesn't look like it would be too harsh a dent to be massaged out.
if u can get to it u could more than likely push it out there is only need for bog if needed to be kept to an absolute minimum thats if u need to just to finish it of 500 is a lot of money just for a tank im doing one tomorrow black & candy for half that
a painless dent man is going to cost you $200 and they do great work, give your local guy a call ,u wont have to take the tank off,but having another look at the picture ,and seeing its a tank ,it might be a pull n bog job ,unless you can remove the foool gauge,
Just whack a sticker over the top! Job dun!!
Seriosly though, paintless repair or a new/2nd hand tank of fleabay would be around half what youve been quoted.
OK, Thanks for the advice guys, I'll hunt for a paintless dent repair place and try them first, cheers.
You turned Kiwi mate ???

so anyway from the small little pic i can see it could possibly be removed by a PDR paintless dent removal guy
its something i have been looking at for a monster tank with a bar ding in it which i think should be able to be pretty well pushed out
if you youtube PDR or motorcycle tank dent removal you will see what i mean
and if they can PDR the dent then looking at maybe a couple of hundred bucks and no bog required
Is that Paul's bike? Tell me it wasn't Rob!?
