I just got the dash, if I need idiot lights I'll make up a little LED rack around the dash. That's the plan anyway. I bought direct from Motogadget and saved a packet over the local price. With the dollar where it is today it would be a good buy too.
+1 on the Motogadget mini - I bought mine a couple weeks back (still waiting on delivery) , but I'm lazy so bought the idiot light cradle with it..
Just back to the original headlight stuff.. 2 headlights I was trying to locate for a decent $ that would look pretty fkn cool on the RSV are 1125CR and B-King. Both have a nice profile with solid lines (like your tank) and sit close on the forks.

I priced a GSR750 one, $980, I don't know what the BKing would be worth but OEM might scare you. Maybe a wreckers.
The cf moto one actually looks pretty good. Worth considering
I really like the 1125cr light too. Nearly got one for the sv, but i totally forgot about them. Might look into that idea.
ive bought a brand new oem k9 gixer unit ,was $760,but the seller took it out of the box ,dropping it and snapping off one of the lugs,good for me ! i got it for $80,
The Buell one would look pretty good

The CR one looks better, it just looks more angry.
the KTM Duke headlight is one of my favourites.............pity they are just hard to come by....
They are pretty fucking cool eh. but you can't get the fuckers anywhere and brand new they're like a whole G.
I'm gonna give peter theifens a call tomorrow and see how much the CR light is. from the states brand new they're cheap as.
Those Duke lights are porn, but as you both said, you just can't find them anywhere for sale
