    headlight ideas for my RSV

    hey guys.

Looking for some ideas for headlights for my RSV.

I'm pretty keen on the Ape Dorsoduro headlight, but they are exxy.

I like pretty sleek looking stuff, i'm not too keen on the "mask" face like things AND i want some usable light as i live in the country.

    It's that simple.

    How about an RC8 headlight??
Its something that hardly gets done, and would suit the ape?

I bought a front headlight for a CFMoto 650NK for the busa the other day for $280. They wanted $900 for the GSR750 unit. A CB1000R might look ok too ??

I've seen a MotoMorini with these twins and it looked pretty schmick.

Trav, how about a K4 Gixxer headlight? Then all you need to do is make up a CF surround for it

yeah the RC8 one is a little big IMO. If it was the same but about half the hight i would love it.

I love these ones, but they are just SOOO common nowadays (probably because they look awesome):

I quite like the Vrod one too, but i'm not sure if it's maybe a little too round for my bike. also it wouldn't really allow me to make a front fairing that would cover the big gauges.

Speed trip ones stick out too far for my taste.

that CFmoto one is pretty cool, but it looks a little bulky. have you actually got it yet? If you could shoot me some more pictures (so i can see if i could debulk it a bit) that would be awesome.

I think the gix light would be too bulky by far.

    Thanks guys.

I'll put up some pics once I get it, it should be in next week, I know what you're saying about it's size that's the only thing that's concerning, me but it should be fine on the busa, if not, ebay it goes. I'll put some pics up with it next to the front of the Tuono that should give you a good idea on how it may look on the RSV.

thanks a lot for that man. i tried for ages to find more photo's of that bike. It's what gave me the confidence to get the CBR tail and make it fit (i loved the cbr tail since it came out and figured if someone else had already done it it couldn't be that hard)

Not a fan of the headlight he has though.

They're a Motogadget speedo. Bloody nice but a bit pricey. It's what I want to put on the Gixxer though

I have a mini motogadget dash coming, only thing I'm waiting on now, $285 landed.

Here is the headlight compared the the stock Tuono headlight. It's off a CFMoto 650NK, it will be going on my busa when I find some 50 - 54mm fork clamps.
