Most of the Busa res covers are designed to work with a fairing.
They only cover up the bit you see on the faired bike.
Not sure how good they'd look without the tupperware.

I've see the bottle covers, they just look like shit, you can't polish a turd.

Spent another few hours on it tonight.

Took the light and dash off, left the clip ons on too see what it looked like..... naaaaa

Went about putting the riser on, after a quick phone call to Ben, thanks you again, I was informed the top clamp is a lot easier to fit with the front off the ground, learn something everyday.

I then started on the wiring, holy mother of god........... after fucking around for an hour and trying a number of different routes I found a great place on the right hand side just under the injector that was made to take the stock fuse box bracket and away I went again. Even the block cables reaches, I just need to lengthen the dash, blinkers, temp, fan...........fuck.

So as it sits tonight, getting there. Ordered some block of plates from Ben to ditch the oil cooler, that'll help tidy the front up.

Light should be here in a week or two, I'll start working on the dash tomorrow, the busa dash has 17 pins and the same gauges to read as the GSR one but different plugs.

And if anyone does the riser swap on a busa just get a new clutch hose too, the stock one is half steel, it works but it's shit.

That looks good, I'll have a look around for one of them. I was looking at a motorcycle battery acid bottle and thunking two of those linked together might work behind the throttle bodies somewhere too.

I fucked around in the shed today, bloody rain. I had a Buell fairing here I was thinking about using before I ordered the light I'll finally use......if it ever gets here... I made a bracket up for the Buell fairing and GSR gauges just to see what it would look like, about 6 hours later I walked away convinced I had ordered the right setup, I wait for the new light to turn up.
