if you'r looking for short tails, look at smaller capacity bikes. I used a ninja 250 seat, and it was about 150mm shorter than the vfr one. what about a late model aprillia rs125?
    more titanium than my bike

That little yammy tail looks real nice. What about a Street/Speed Triple seat/tail? nice and short, you could use the factory pillion cowl, or make your own.

Went out on Friday night and run a 10.9 so happy as, also won $200 for a .002 reaction time great start to the weekend.
    Now to the work

As most know this is how it looked

This is how it sits now needs about 100mm cut out of the top rails and the bottom modded to suit

Yep not far off needed to take a little off the outside off the top rail to get it in bottom rail needs a liitle more work but not much.
gunna cut 100mm off the length and mod the bottom a little and all would be good. it is a little wider than i figured but it will work. hate typing on this phone

    Another random pic

It doesn't look like much has changed but I had the original top mounts rewelded. I am not happy need to get Jules to make total new mounts and have them welded ( Need to get a TIG relying on others to do the welding is a pain)
I need to move it back a little so I can fit as it is a tight squeeze now but I don't want it to long so will work it out.
Kev will need to work on the seat to get it to fit an Pav will get it all for paint when done hopfully not tomuch longer. I will b refitting the old seat so I can go for a ride or race until complete.

Slapped it back together with the old tail and went racing. Managed a 10.9 @ 206kph 1/8 in 7.1 60ft in 1.9.
The fella in the other lane on a striped back Honda 4 with wheel bars, great bike to watch

    60 in 1.7 1/8 in 7.1 1/4 in 11.3 @ 182kph
So if I can get my 60 down watch out
