the people who believe the rhetoric about society thinking only white people can be racist, are the same ones who themselves believe that only NON whites or NON christians can be extremists or use their religion as an excuse to carry out unimaginable crimes.

The rule concerns divorce, which obviously implies marriage. Muhammad wanted believing men to observe a three month waiting period before evicting their wives, to make sure that they weren’t pregnant.

An island paradise with an idyllic lifestyle comes at a massive cost to taxpayers, with an unemployment rate that varies between 60 and 80 per cent.


It's a little-known Australian territory that's closer to Sri Lanka than Canberra, where locals depend heavily on Centrelink payments to stay afloat.



The bulk of the population is on welfare, and many are claiming much more than they should.



The island’s population relies heavily on Canberra to maintain their isolated existence, and each year tens of millions of taxpayer dollars are channelled to the external Australian territory’s population in the form of welfare payments and grants.

Despite the idyllic setting in the Coco Islands however, there is trouble in paradise.

2,750 kilometres northwest of Perth, and halfway between Madagascar and Canberra, is Australia’s most isolated Centrelink office.

From the office Haji Adam coordinates welfare payment for the 550 odd population living in the unspoilt paradise that is Australia’s Cocos Keeling Islands.

Adams is not only Centrelink’s agent but also Chief Imam, the religious leader of the Muslim community which for nearly three decades has battled unemployment.

“At the moment I have a number of customers who really have expressed their concern about the rate of payment from Centrelink. It is not really enough because of the cost of living, so I think it is really difficult,” Adam said.

Next financial year, the Federal Government has allocated nearly $53,000 for every person on the islands. All up it is around $37 million to maintain health, education, communication and airline services, and that is on top of a dole bill that runs into the millions each year.

On Home Island you can’t buy alcohol or cigarettes. There are no pubs and pokies, and peoples’ lives are guided by their Islamic faith, but still governed by Australia Law. And while there aren’t the employment opportunities of those from mainland Australia, there is evidence of Centrelink fraud, and it has raised questions as to whether the welfare payments to the Cocos Island are being properly administered.

St George’s flag is a racist symbol says a quarter of the English

The English feel far more patriotic about the Union Flag than the St George’s Cross, according to a new poll.


The survey found that while 80 per cent linked the British flag with such feelings, only 61 per cent associated them with English one.



By contrast, the Scottish and the Welsh were far more likely to feel pride in their flag – the St Andrew’s Cross and Red Dragon respectively – than the English in theirs.


The organisation, which has also written to the Prime Minister and other party leaders, suggests holding a popular vote to select an anthem such as Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory, I Vow to Thee, My Country, or Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, which could be adopted by the English and be used in the same way as Flower of Scotland by the Scots and Land Of My Fathers, by the Welsh.

Takeaway brothel boss hounded girls for sex

A Carlisle takeaway boss has been convicted of attempting to recruit four girls aged between 12 and 16 into prostitution.

Azad Miah, 44, was also found guilty at Carlisle Crown Court of running a brothel from his business and paying for the sexual services of teenagers.


The owner of the former Spice of India restaurant had denied all charges.


He was found guilty of inciting four girls into prostitution, and cleared of the same allegation against two others.

He was also convicted of paying for the sexual services of two girls.


Miah, who was warned that he faced a "substantial" prison term, will be sentenced on Tuesday.

An Asian takeaway owner groomed vulnerable white girls as young as 12 for paid sex and told one of his five child victims: ‘In my country it doesn’t matter about age’.

Bangladesh-born Azad Miah, 44, saw the girls as ‘fresh meat’ and sent hundreds of text messages promising to give them drugs, alcohol and money in return for sex.

Last night, as detectives investigated his possible links to an Asian child sex ring jailed last week, the police were accused of missing three vital opportunities to bring him to justice.

His youngest victim said she eventually gave up talking to officers in 2008 - three years before his eventual arrest in March last year - because they failed to take any action.

Calais immigrants questioned over gang rape of British student

Police have begun questioning immigrants living in Calais' makeshift refuge camps following the suspected gang rape of a London journalism student.


The woman, who is in her early 30s, told police she believes up to ten men were involved in the attack, which took place on Tuesday in notorious makeshift camp called "The Jungle" in the northern French port's industrial zone.



She is understood to have entered the area by herself with the intention of speaking to immigrants for a photo-reportage of their illegal trafficking via ferries and lorries into the UK.



A police spokesman said: "The woman was a student from London who had travelled to France to highlight problems surrounding clandestine immigration.



"She appeared to be working alone, which was a very dangerous thing to do."



French riot police have been drafted in to help round up more than 100 asylum seekers for questioning, and a forensics team will take DNA samples from dozens of potential suspects.

A cruel father-in-law who kept his son’s Pakistani bride prisoner in his Bradford home and used her as his sex slave has been jailed for seven years.


The 56-year-old man took away the 22-year-old woman’s jewellery and passport and threatened to bring shame on her by forcing her to divorce if she refused to comply with his demands.

He even made her swear on the Koran not to tell anyone.
