Thanks guys i'm digging it. I love making shit for the bike that you can't buy.

    It's 6mm polycarbonate.

I don't know what to do with it now, put it back on or leave it in the house so i can look at it

Maybe the bike should come inside.

That plenum is trick. you've spent some time on that, and imo it's time well spent.

All up i think there's about 20 hours in the 7 parts to make the plenum.

I was thinking about put one of these stickers in the window.

    Time of an update.
I blew the gear box again and almost went under a bus because of it, that was exciting.
When i rebuilt it the first time i missed the wear on the shift drum and it was jumping out of 2nd.

Oldskool worded me up as to the problem and i got some new parts in the mail.
Deano helped out with a couple of gears too, so with a week to go until the drags she looked like this.

I got it back together and running and did a AFR check on the dyno, all good so a drag racing we shall go

That shit is so much fun, best was 11.35 @ 120mph.
I need to harden up abit of the line, but with a few people asking if my gear box would make it i was a bit soft. Fuck you TK.
Looks like this at the moment and Gibbo has given me a cool idea for the paint.

Power is 130HP at the wheel, i started with 92/94 at the wheel.

I'm getting 40HP from 7PSI with only retarding the ignition and about $1000 in parts.
The theory is 1 bar (14.7PSI) will double your power, so 7PSI should be 45HP. Close enough i reckon.
I have tuned it with EGT's in each exhaust port and a AFR meter so i could tune each carby. The 4 carb's have different jets and needle settings to get the afr right, I could lean it off a bit but being a oil cooled motor i'm happier keeping the cylinder temps down.
When i first tuned it i had the interia set up wrong on the dyno (4wd Dyno), thats why it says more power in the last graph.

I also did a graph at 5PSI just to see the difference.

    Hi Latheboy,

Just read your thread through. Mate WOW. You do some AWESOME work Bud, your now officially my hero.

Hey, we ort to start the turbo gsxr750 SSSA owners club,(thats what all the cool kids are doing) only where ever we went i'd have to hide mine under a sheet, because like Yella so ellequently put it, mine looks like a TURD in comparison.

Love all the one off machined parts, keep it up

Your motor the 749cc looking at the clutch cover or is it a 748cc short stroke?

All right, all right, no need to rub it in.

Anyway, mines 813cc, so who's is bigger than who's now.

    All hail homebuilt turbo's.

Mate, just wondered what spec, or at least what AR your T28 turbo is? Your dyno graphs look real good for such a large turbo, and i'm just gathering info for a possible upgrade to mine in the future.

    Cheers

I thought the turbo was off a fully sick skyline but EXBEN told me it's off a Silvia so it's a bit ghey.
A/R.42 on the compressure and .48 on the zaust side

I would have said skyline cause I thought Silvia's had .64&.60 ar t25 on the s13 .64&.60 in a t28 on the s14 and the same again for the s15 except ball bearing (gt28r or gt2560r)

It's my understanding that the .48 was used on the 180sx silvias using the CA18 motor, I'm just going by what I've been told as I don't use these turbos.
