Heres a look under the hood. A bit of a squeeze between the frame. Ram air induction.[:0]
Welcome aboard Cutcat. Nice 6/12. Must've taken a big pry bar to squeeze that motor in.
"It's the eighties and I'm down with the ladies"
Thanks for the welcome Iceman. Pleasure to be here. I took the shoehorn out of the bedroom and into the shed for this one!
Welcome mate, Great to see one of the old skool motors being used...bet it suprises a few 'experts'...
Reminds me of an early streetfighters with, I think a kwack 750 triple in a Kr1 chassis
Jesus died for his own sins...NOT MINE !
Yeah saw that for sale a while back. Looks good.
Now thats a proper kawasaki. Was there much cutting and welding of the frame needed to be done.
Nice bike
Hey Sharky, strange that you mentioned the imfamous Kawasaki 750 triple. Oooooooohhhhh my mouth waters[xx(] what I would do to have one now! Have a look at the pic, its the zx6 before I decided what donk to use. I couldn't find enough bits to complete the h2 750 motor so I ended up parting it out....shame.[V]
Alfiestorm, hardly any cutting. I removed the original top engine mounts from the underside of the perimeter frame. The hardest part was making the chrome moly support frame to hold the motor. It was done by a Harley Frame maker. Top job too.
Ozkat, yeah I tried to sell her once but no takers. But she is no longer. I needed some dosh so the motor now resides in a buggie somewhere.
Now have a tasty 7/11 in the workshop. Will keep you posted.
I hear the 7/11 pulls some good figures on the Dyno.....! Can't wait to so her at the Drags.....
You Fiend, when are you going to fighter your TL1000!! Anyone who can break a TL gearbox TWICE!!!! likes to ride hard. And I thought your wife..............nothing.
Nice quote.
SWEEEEEEEEET []
That's what I like to see, somebody thinking outside the square, not to mention it's GREEN Top marks C.C. [^]
Nice job on the conversion too, woulda been wild with the smoker triple though, shame you couldn't get the bits
Mate, you'll fit right in around here.
Hey Cutcat. Welcome aboard mate. Are you the guy who came up and asked about the shirt at the GP last weekend? Nice bike mate. Keeping the clip-ons? Any future plans?
Hi Gixx11. My missus was asking about a shirt. I was too busy perving at the Honda girls. Oh and the Suzuki babes......and the Denso chicks.....and were there bikes riding around?
I don't know what I will do with the rolling frame now. I think I will save her for another project. If anyone has a wasted zx10r let me know.
wow, that intake is pretty arty looking
got any close-ups?
Rev the fucker!!!!!
Hi Fimp, this is the only pic I have. It shows how complex the loom was. It was a real stuggle to fit everything in the small zx6 frame.
