havnt looked that far ahead yet really
just know its there and i will have to make allow for it at some time
we dont have the emiision test like you do over there but it is still a no no
have a lot to get to before i can really even get suck in with the rebuild so its no big thing
i left it on when i ran the free flow 4 2 1 oldsckool reversion cone exh and mod std air box with k/n with stage 1 factory pro kit and lots of dyno time
i was lucky and knew at the time a bloke with a bike dyno shop that i did some work for and hang out at the shop so had acess to the dyno
he would run it up and we decide what to change then i would have the jets swaped and niddle hight changed and ready for next run in just over 30 mins
floot hight took longer but a day like that and it run as sweet as a near stock 1100 one of these should run id say
dont think you will lose to much with the stlye you are building like u said if u what to ride fast just ride the busa lol

just a update lathe is up and running so i machined a new stem
to macth the yammy yokes to the head stock.
wasnt as hard as i thought just some time and a little care finished out of s/s, but as happens changed my mind. im going to make a new one out of 7075 ally but allso going to change the design to give me the option to change ofest and stering angle.
looks like im might use honda top bearing as well it has same od but bigger id so bigger shaft size just waiting for mad mick at goodna to get back with some size and price.

the outside stems are stock and yammy one

allso finally picked my busa rim from a drag race bloke at the warn up to the winters and it has the same axel size as the zr14 forks so win there.
the only prob was the fork spaceing to alignment to disk if i uesed the zx14 yokes would have needed 2.5 spacers on both disks but i have got around that with the yammy yokes they have the same fork spaceing as a gen 1 busa so all lines up one less thing to be a prob
so in the wash up to fit the front end i have to machine the stem , fit two spacer bush's to the axel and just the norm 5 mm spacers to the radil brakes to allow for the bigger disks allmost to easy but not finished yet so ill keep quite before some thing bites me on the arse..........

ok been a while but there has been some movement on this project
and a few changes of plans ..... as things go along ill let u all see what i have in mind
some of u might have quessed by some of my quotes or know by me letting u in on whats going on
but looks like 135 hp at the wheel is what ill end up with, now i have made shore that ill be able to get it tho rego its a go
should run mid tens to low tens na but still be very streetable
it helps that i have been crewing for smurf and shel on their drag bike and have got to know scotty from rapid motion well :-) top bloke btw
also helps if u can barter copper air line and spare shit around the shed as well as cash for motor parts and work lol
also helps if u can find parts u need in germany and have them shiped at good price
so she has been striped and standard rollers on her to go to frame strighter

    Looks great!

Luv anything with a steel cradle frame. i remember back in the day, thats really what fighters were all about.
Taking GS's and Z's and stuffing sportsbike running gear into em, then tuning the fuck out the motor lol.
Gutted you didnt go the force fed route and could have done it fine on the stock CV's without needing the expense or time of EFI
Dont know if you've seen this but its a great little read, might help you or someone else on thier next project

Anyway looks great, always liked those ZRX swingers as well.

Keep at it and get it done.

anything that had a "cat" fitted and now has an aftermarket
full system without one. Another good reason for Oldskool muscle.

Thks mate and I'm with u love old sckool shit just more fun lol
I really did look at turbo and will prob turbo something one day
but I got the opp to build a really strong na motor basically a street
tune of the drag motor I crew on . This gives away just what I'm up to
but keeping the zephyr motor just was going to be a pain for many reasons
Mind you 1230 and mybe low 10s but at least high to mid 10s
will match well with the rest of the bike very well. You need to stop in one day lol
