    Ultimte B-King Airbox Mod !

    Check this out ......

Remove the stock air filter all together......

Double the airbox volume (less pressure drop)

    2 x 50mm Inlets

    Perfect fit !

I could make these as a kit for people if they were interested.... probably about AUS$200

Have you tried it yet? if so what gains did you get, and did it lose anything in the bottom or mid?

    Sounds good in theory.

Be interested to get some feed back from getting some
miles in or a few dyno run's.

    Keep us informed.

It all fits back in without touching a thing. Not even close. Plenty of room all round.

The "snorkels" point down in the bike. The area they breath from is around the top of the engine above the cam cover etc.

There is a tonne of space in there and air is fed there above the radiator etc too.

It's hard to show it in place .....but here's a go at it....

Just pulling mine to bits to have a look,
and take the damaged radiator off.

Someone could have told me new bikes have f@ckin' velcro
behind the panels. Had me paranoid, waiting for the "snap".

    Airbox mod's shouldn't be a drama.
Rather do PAIR and TRE and maybe K&N at the same time.

I did PAIR at the same time
Do as much as you can! I think there was 15 pieces to take off to lift the tank!!!

Yeah, thats what I was thinking.
Not good to compare individual mod's but if your going to
do them anyway what the hell. Might get some PAIR block-off's
and not just put a marble in the hose this time.
Airbox mod's, TRE, P.A.I.R, would like to do the pipes too but
unemployed/no points left so it might have to wait.
    ...Oh yeah.....Rad and cooler guards.....

Just looking ahead....Seen a few 1441 big bores, but there have
    been a couple cracking blocks.
Looks like Mk1 Busa barrels might be the way to go ?
