Mold making made easy for fibre glassing etc

Just finished a project using this stuff, and thought it might be of interest to anyone that does fibreglass/carbon fibre moldings.
It is a castable material that can then be easily shaped or machined then you can lay up on top of it. But the best thing about it is the fact it is water soluble, so there are no de-molding issues, instead of strugling to get the part off, or making multi part molds, you just hose it out.
It's called aqua-core. Might be a re-post, but I aint seen it mentioned on here before.

That's pretty cool mate, I hadn't heard of it before.

Here's the website for the stuff: http://www.acrtucson.com/products/Aquacore/index.htm

Is it a straight alternative for HD foam? I guess it would be, ....or are there and catches?

I think the only catch is that it's more expensive than foam.

Don't know, the customer provided the materials, he said it was more expensive than ordinary foam, I'll find out and let you know.

The part in the pic started off as a 200mm x 120mm x 950mm block. It cost $400 in materials to make 5 of them.
