    Yeah yeah so I'm a fan of good ol' air cooled bikes....tried a few gix's an stuff but allways came back to air cooled Yams.....

    first up i would be ditching those shovel sized indicators,
    that gain another 50kph in top-end

    Lovin' that can there mate. It's got a real indutrial yet neat look about it.
    Which way you goin' with this one then Sharky? More towards the Rat/chop look, or Streetfighter stylee?
    I take it the blue strap is just holding it ridged to the frame and not holding the can onto the actual pipe? Might wanna make a bracket before it starts rubbing a hole in the side of that brand new can.

    The fj is gonna morph into the XJR12 chassis I picked up from ebay, but not quite as Yamaha intended

    Stage 2 complete....Now off to Bob Martins at the w/e to get the frame checked.....Can't believe I paid more for the forks than the rest of the xjr [:0]
    And Gix...re: the industrial mufflers..too right mate. Take 2 lengths of st/st ducting pipe, 4 st/st soap dishes from Bunnings, a bit of perforated sheet to make the baffles and an old pair of Ducati cans...and voila....
