    Another fckn 7/11

Well this is how it started, these blokes got sick of waiting for me to get off my lazy arse so organised a visit one friday night to get the 750 out and the 1100 in! You can see the thread here http://www.streetfighters.com.au/for...TOPIC_ID=11123
Turns out when you put bandit headers on you need a bandit sump[:I] took a bit of getting but after it turned up there are a couple of differences, the main one being that the oil return pipe has a tag welded to it that stops the oil from a valve sqirting straight up onto the crank, which needed modifying, see pic

I do, should be nice and fuck off loud, or keep that hotdog and chop the end of the exhaust so the tip of the hotdog comes out near the front of the tyre.

That photo above shows the K4 back end in place as well. Lotsa people said it wouldn't work but with some advice from Doc I went ahead nervously ( thanks Doc ) After a bit of Ivaneering ( that'd be engineering by Ivan, aka Latheboy ) in making some spacers and a new rear shock mount it went in pretty bloody easy [8D].
Had to move the battery and alter the wiring and I'll get some more pics up soon.
Gotta say though that Latheboy is a fucken genius, despite what the stories and pics from moto gp may suggest.

A pic of the temporary shock mount by Ivan. The bottom mount is the all K4 except the linkages are from 750 SRAD, along with the spacers for the shock and swingarm pivot it goes straight in Rode it down to the Island for the gp and it handles fine, have not gone real hard yet as that was it's first outing and have not rejetted the carbs so not running at it's best.
The exhaust sounds great, pretty loud though[]

nice work gibbo/ivan - interesting solution to the top mount issue - so you used the K4 susp rocker as well?

Yeah, K4 rocker, just change the linkages, fits like it shoulda been there. Doc had already used these linkages but he went a different top mount idea.

    cheers mate

I got a couple of different ones to try out on mine - one from a hayabusa and an rgv as the 03 750 arm I got did't come with any and they were the shorter ones I came across

Looks spot on gibbo. It bolts in so easy don't it ?The srad dogbones are the perfect length. I am still a little concerned about the top mount. There gunna be some serious force on it but if Ivan says its good, then its good. Champion effort indeed.

I've thought about the top shock mount quite a bit as i did something very similar on mine when the SSSA went in .. Im in the process of making another mount as that is V1.0 the next one will be one piece 6061 AL.
About the force's, i have thunk and thunk and come to the realisation that fuck it, <s>it's only Gibbo </s> ummm i mean the cross bar where it mounts is the strongest part of the frame and the engine mounts on the other side of it so it's tie'd in really well.. It's a super strong part of the frame so for it to twist and shit it self you would have to jump it off a 10 story building and hey it's a SuzukiIt'll still ride like a weapon... [8][}]
