    92 CBR900 Clutch

    Hey All,

It's been a while since last post...

I'm having clutch issues, and I'm assuming that the metal plates are warped but havent had a chance (or a feeler guage) to check.

Basically, gear changes are VERY clunky (free play is right by the way) and when cold, dropping it into gear before flicking the throttle with the clutch in is enough to stall it.

It was like this when I got it at around 60,000kms, but no where near as bad, so I replaced the frictions hoping this would make a difference, but nothing.

Now its at around 85,000kms and it's totally pissing me off.

My questions are: do you guys think its the metals, or could it be something more sinister? (Selector fork[:0])

Money is tight atm due to wedding costs... will 20,000kms old frictions need to go if the metals are replaced?

What happens if I don't replace both?

    Cheers, Dane
