    iI Finished the slabbie 15.06.10

    i just startet to change something on my
    second bike
    86gsxr slabside 7/880ccm

    thats is how the bike looks the last 3 years


    and now it`s time to change something..
    there comes..

    a selfmade headlight..


    a selfmade billet handlebar...


    with new billet grips and new minimal electrics like these..


    some billet engine covers...
    clutch window cover from MS BIKES..


    a selfmade ignition window cover


    selfmade leftside window starter cover


    a 6 x17 pvm/ phoenix rear wheel...


    and some other gimmicks..
    and a new paint named dark blue chrome..

    now if done the first step..

    billet handlebar, speedo and elektriks
    are ready..
    (and now its summer and my wife want drive the bike)
    so i screwed only an other headlight on it..
    the engine covers and the rear wheel i change next time..
    and the other changes iŽl made in wintertime..
    (new paint, build i new tail and the headlight unit..)
    and yes there are only 3 screwes in the handlebar on the pic..
    now there are all 4 inside..

    Those bars look really good mate. Work great with the wide tank as well. Keep the progress photos coming mate.

    How does your wife go with the plastic seat??

    she drive the bike since 2 years
    and she wont have an other seat..
    it `s more comfortable as it looks..

    and if any one is interestet at those bars...
    i had 3 ones for sale..

    original linkage , but modified at the exenter..

    today i testet a new seat..
    its only taped on.. sitting not in the real right position..
    but i think fits good to the rest if i had fiberglass it at the end..







    always comes a vance&hines sidewinder header on it with the supertrapp in the
    position as now..
    must change for that something at the belly...
    and MUST change the fender (there comes a little smooth one on it)
    if i use the headlight unit or an billet headlight (an other one as now)
    i will see when i get finished the rest...

    the wheels arrived these days..
    its been a used set and so i startet to
    polished them (first the rear one)
    befor..



    after...



    and for looking how it see..





    polished the front one next week
    and in november i startet with the
    complete change...
