purchased a new white 2018 SDR had all the performance uploads done , tank repainted too the Gen1 orange before it left the shop.
during the wait on delivery done lot research before purchase done & lot buying on ebay & aftermarket goodies around the world.
parts consist of KTM 690/1090-1190ADV/1290SAR/Aftermarket Performance & One Off Hand made
Morning after it was delivered the strip down started to a frame/engine/electrics only 2km on the clock
Final result Openflashed Stage 3 @180Hp /195Kg with the Kineo Billet wheels (185Kg with Talon/Excel SM Pro wheels)
Only one build like it in Australia & only 2 world wide done (Jiri & KTM in Czec built one to race in the Erzberg (Iron Giant) Prologue to compete against the BMW HP2 - KTM won again as did the 950SE few years back against the BMW HP2
why did i not use a 1290SAR ?
A: too heavy
B: less Hp
C: Frame & Ergonomics were way off as a starting base to a Super Enduro R
