Back on topic....
I've done some research on tyre sizes and the effects on the gearing.
The stock max rear is 150/90/15.....this equates to 4100rpm @ 110k
Mates running a 150/80 and this increases the revs to 4500 at same speed..(he is always first to need fuel on a run)
I'd hoped to fit a 190/50 but this is only marginally better at 4450rpm.
Mono has been majorly helpful here and can supply a 190/60 with a decent profile...
Going by the graph I drew up this would give 3850rpm at 110k
This is more acceptable as its a lot of my time is spent in the 100-120 range....better fuel range .....and enough grunt on tap to roll on smooth....or drop a gear to kick it in the guts and rip the b'jeesus out of it....
