Hey guys, heading up to bundaberg in a few weeks for a visit. Which way would you take? I'm wanting a bit of an interesting ride, I'm in no hurry, so want to stay off the highway as much as possible.

Been that way as far as gayndah and out to monto
not bad roads nothing to write home about, but watch out for cops between brissy and Nanango
there was road works just before Nanango which will hold you up for at least 15 - 30 mins if you miss the cycle.

i have been that way as in from ipswich to the bruce highway on a run to gladson
like doc said not bad but nothing out the box but lots better if u dont want the highway
a few high lights but at times some road works (fuck when they redid the black butt range yuck)
and yes cops between till you get past nanango(might not be bum fuck nowhere but by crist you can see it from there lol)

Head west to rejoin your original route.

I used to travel from Gladstone to Toowoomba and back regularly (average at least once a month for 5 yrs). I usually went via the section of your map through Yarraman, Ban Ban Springs and turned just after Dallarnil to head north. I can assure you there is nothing to see in that section (better than going up the Bruce though). The road towards Childers after the turn off north of Dallarnil has some reasonable sections though

Well, murphy fucking slapped me again. Car fucked out last night on the way home from work with a suspected blown head gasket. so that fucks the trip financially. FUCK!
