Rode up to Central Coast today via the old road to see me Mum.Great fun punting the K along thinking I'm fast (I'm Not!). Going through Gosford and a Benelli TNT & a big cruiser scooter thing come out of a side road behind me.TNT rockets past me to the next lights so I pull up just behind for a look,nice looker & a lot quicker than the gix but was really surprised by the tinny,almost sewing machine like note from the pipe,dunno if it was after market or not.His scooter mate was just a bit behind me.Off we went towards the Punt Bridge there and this fuckin behemoth of a scooter goes flying past me (and the Benelli) with a turn of speed and some agile in and outing that surprised the fuck outta me.
Been crucified by SV 650s,Beemer enduros and baby race reps before but scooters FFS.[:I]

ive gotten smoked by a turbo wrx, and an insane amg tuned mercedes, but i havent been as lucky as to get smoked by a scooter.

ZX...they give scooters away with cars in europe [its the only way the can sell the cars ]..lol and thetre plenty popular in major citys ..ie you get all sorts of weird and wonderful concoctions ..like the twin cylinder two stroke italjet 250 that pulls about 110 mph ..theres a whole subculture [and i only know this cos i used to work doing specilized bike recovery in london]..so there .itll happen here when gas hits 3 bucks a litre mark my words

I got a good run by a holden one day that was obviously tweaked to shithouse cos I couldnt shake him until about 250kph I was very surprised oneof those leb cars that looked lowered but nuthin special sure gave me a good go!
