    Australia Day Weekend Ride - Mt Hotham

    Hey all,

    I am arranging a ride to Mt Hotham - 26th and 27th Jan - Overnighter. [u]Currently have about 12 people coming but would like to limit the group to 16 at the moment</u>.... Can goto 20 if people are interested.

    I spoke to Georgina at the Asgaard and she said they will definately look after us. $50/night including breakfast, linen, pillows, blankets, towels, etc.... everything provided.

    Conditions
    I would like to limit the group to maximum of 16 at this stage - maximum.

    Meeting Points
    There are 3 meeting points at this stage.
    1 - Shell, Westgate - in-bound 7:30am for 8:00am departure
    2 - Healesville - Beechworth Bakery 9:30am for 10:00am departure
    3 - Towonga Gap - Bright Side, 3:00pm to meet with Canberra Crew

    Should be a good weekend, pity the year hasn't got more weekends.
    16 is a good number, thats about all that will fit along the bar at the general, nice place though ..always stop for a coldy when we daytrip up the hills

    I suggest you try n avoid Mt Buffalo, Falls Creek, Mt Beauty & Tawonga Gap on the 27th.

    It will be packed with up to 3000 lycra clad pushbike riding freaks on the annual Alpine Challenge.

    Can't BD checking out the racing at PI before doing a trackday on monday

    Them crazy pushbikers.... ridden those roads on this weekend other years,no concept of keep left, just ride carefull and expect anything...
