ok ladies and gents the annual toy run is nearly here again and for the first time since i have been living in adelaide i want be working, well sort of i will be finishing at 630 that morning!! it leaves glenelg at 1100 so i will be getting there around then as i will be having a cat nap b4. the run finishes at handorf on the oval for band etc.
so who is in??

its huge! Cant make it this year, but the run gathers at the bottom of Anzac highway, probably better to arrange a meeting point on the way, to get to early and join the run when it goes past.
just be careful of the heat alfie..oilers dont like the heat and runnin slow for so long...my 7/11 got so hot last year i had smoke comin outta my crankcase breather..ie..fucked up my rings,,jeez i love the kids but fuck i wouldnt do another one in 40 degree heat
Got me thinking now dont want to cook my engine on a slow run. Especially this engine cost a ferkin fortune to rebuild to the same spec.
Another option maybe to use the company mini moke you guys can put ya toys in it and give them out at the destination.
Does anyone think it is a good idea to use the mini moke it's red even though this is a bike run.

Last one i did there was a heap of bikes overheating. My thermo fan was on almost constantly. Until we got to the Highway its was a damm slow pace and with so many bikes it does get hot.
i personally havent done one but i will be inclined to sit and watch proceedings and tach on to the back once it starts to thin out?
not keen on getting to hot under the collar with 60% of ppl there this is there annual ride!! should be good to watch at least!

Few Mates usually wait up Anzac Highway a bit and jump on the front. They says its good then. Get all the fun without the heat and as Chris said there are soem riders who should not be riding in such a tight group. Add the dicks that try to race from the back to the front and there are usually a couple moments along the way.
hey guys went and had a look yesterday left late as worked until 630 that morning but still caught up to the tail end. saw a few fighters around that i havent seen before and racecomps speed3. weather was great nowhere near to hot at all.
