I saw this as i was leaving the hospital carpark today (i'm still getting physio after my scaphoid surgery). I stopped to take some pics for you lot, and the owner came out. He chose the blackbird cos it's got linked brakes. He needs linked brakes cos his right foot was amputated a while ago.
Paul, you're a champion.
more titanium than my bike
now that is a champion ..has a head like a spark plug he does
hope if i ever in his shoes i can be that hard core
They killed me in that hospital. I nearly left minus a foot too...
far out. going on a trip is he? impressive enough without the added excitement of only having one foot.
which hospital is that cruise? i'd like to avoid it....!
It's royal north shore. I had a knee reconstruction there, and surgery on my wrist at RNS private. What happened to you, Cruise?

I saw this bike with about 5 other riders ( all with fishing rods ) last Thursday going through PortCambell, Victoria, Great Ocean Rd.quote:Originally posted by hooligan

Good to see them getting about.
The other blokes had a leg missing, arm missing and one guy had no arms at all... Just kidding
Good work though with only one foot..
yeah a mate had an incident with a car and they looked after him pretty well, don't think he had any complaints. did you get the doc who had a hangover or something cruise?
A titanium rod, two plates and a dozen screws kept my foot attached to my leg after a neat little highside but the bastards overdosed me on morphine.
oh. is that all?[] naloxone(narcan) is pretty magic stuff in those situations though. but it doesn't really excuse it either. thank goodness you're still here
all he's missing is a bar fridge - thats impressive [:O]
