Welcome aboard James, here's a progress shot of my bike from about a month ago.
It's a 91 model, has RGV USD front end, 99 R1 tail, modified GPZ fuel injection, IHI turbo, Microtech ecu to name a few of the mods. Any questions you have I'd be glad to help if I can.

Dane, paint comes after AFR. Still don't know what the dump pipe will sound like, hopefully find out tomorrow.

Anakist, if it's already in bits, why not replace them with different ones.

Iceman, where is your log? What tail section is on there? It looks sweet. I am using as much of the stock stuff as I can at the moment because of finances. Had a while off work after the crash and so money is still tight.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Believe it or not, but it all started with a set of smaller indicators.

I plan on doing a proper write up after the fools run. I'll have a complete list of mods, before and after photos etc.

Do you have anything on the R1 tail? I am watching this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....5877&rd=1&rd=1 and if it is suitable I am going to get it and go for it.

That one you are watching is a standard R1 tail like I have on mine. Iceman has a fibreglass single seat race unit by the looks of things. If you want to finish the one you are watching you'll need to find a pillion seat cowl as well.

As Gix11 said mine is a one piece race tail, the one your watching will do the job, but take into account you'll need and front seat, pillion seat or rear cowl, tail light etc. I also heavily modified my subframe, to get a good fit.
