I'm chasing a cheap, slip on race can (just the can itself).
Does he have one of them.....?

I'm interested in the cases - this is definitely a '94, and not a '93 ? They are slightly different, in case anybody's wondering. Also, whereabouts is he ?

    Cheers,
    Brian

The cases used from 94 on are those used for the M2, and also the ZX9B ; they're a bit stronger than the earlier ones, hence a little more suitable if you're going to lean on the motor heavily. Externally you can tell the difference by the casting number (91-93 has a '1', later have a '2'), the presence of a round boss above the alternator mount, and two blank bosses (threaded and plugged with bolts on the 9) on the front of the block, between 1-2 and 3-4 cylinders.

    Cheers,
    Brian

You are THE MAN Brian, I'll hafta check all my engines out tomorrow, so you can make a 9 from a '94 onwards 750 huh? I'll remember that, it could come in handy one day. After riding my 9 to the Fools Run & back, my 750 feels a bit lacking now. [V]

Let him know I will call. Thanks.
