Couldn't help it...So I took it for a quick blat. Feels a lot lighter than I remember Kats were. Drops into a corner easily too.

The throttle is really stiff, but those Keihins fuckin roar when it winds up.[8D]

Now I really got to clean up the garage and get into my Sunday drinks.

It's already 1127. If I bore it it would have to be over 1200

I would be happy to do a swap Large 17 inch front and rear, EFE front end, RGV callipers and lots of polishing [8D]. Had plans of doing what you just bought, but ran out of interest when i bought a 1400 []

I have another one in pieces that I bought off egay one afternoon while I was pissed. I wanted to do it original, with wide wire wheels, then I found OSS and I nearly bought a K4 front end, brakes and wheels a week ago, but when I did the maths I figured at least 10K to do it properly...then I rang a guy about a GSXR rolling chassis he was selling....and it turned out he had this one....yada yada.

Are they just standard Kat wire hubs with wide rims?

It's a 1990 (I think) 1127 GSXR motor, GSXR front and rear end, running gear, electrics etc
