    My TL1000s

As promised, here are some pics of my TLs. I dropped about 14 pounds of the front removing all the bodywork, lights, etc. Needless to say, she likes pointing skyward.

Nice. Retro headlight is fine but speedo does look out of place. If it is all electronic then you could replace it with another one. Just an idea, not meaning to criticize what you have.
the pic above is a zx10r speedo that i fitted to my zx9r, a little wiring needed but nothing to tricky. It is small and tidy(i think). Anyway good work. A speedohealer needed if you want it accurate though. ( ehh the copper pipe was just to help me size stuff up untill the bars arrived)

Nope...never touched the motor or airbox. I had all kinds of plans for this bike...but my racebike made demands on my wallet and the TL got neglected.

I agree, it's not the cleanest or purtiest set up. I had planned to fit a different speedo and wanted some smaller, dual headlights. 35k miles later and I still haven't gotten around to it. She goes up for sale soon, so I might make some changes to help make it sell easier.

As far as the chainguard goes, lets just say I have a story about a partially severed foot thanks to a motorcycle chain that makes me like the comfort of chain guards.
